In lockdown various recording projects have come to fruition. In August 2020 the Presteigne Festival Orchestra conducted by George Vass recorded several works associated with the festival, including the Lovely Joan Variations featuring several composers including Huw Watkins, Sally Beamish and Michael Berkeley. I composed the opening, arranged the theme and ‘tema elaborata’. The disc was released in May 2021 on Resonus Classics. Out on Resonus in 2022 will be the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra’s performance of my Symphony, issued as a single download. More details to follow.
