I have just completed the score of a new forty-part motet commissioned for the Lichfield Festival to celebrate its fortieth anniversary. From Silence sets a newly written text by the bestselling novelist Alexander McCall Smith, with whom I am also currently working on an opera. The motet will be premiered at the Lichfield Festival in July 2022 conducted by Patrick Craig.
